Khar West
Khar West begins almost exactly where Bandra ends, and on the ground there is little to tell you that you have crossed from one into the other. At its centre is Chuim Village, a smaller and quieter cousin to Bandra’s old village pockets, with the numbered roads stretching west towards the sea.
We have five homes here, spread across Chuim Village and 18th A Road: compact one and two bedrooms, 350 to 600 sq ft, sleeping two to four people. Most sit on the lower floors, which gives them a more residential, street-level feel.
Carter Road is within walking distance, as are many of the restaurants and shops that draw people to Bandra. Khar keeps a character of its own though: quieter residential streets, Khar Gymkhana, a food scene that has grown well beyond being an extension of its better-known neighbour, and Khar Road station for the line south.

Road distance and a realistic cab time, with the upper bound at peak. Measured from the 4 buildings themselves, not from the middle of Khar West.
A range because these are 4 separate buildings across Khar West, and the lane you are on changes the answer. Each apartment page carries its own exact numbers.
The question guests actually ask is how far they are from where they are not staying.

Chuim is a lane-and-a-half of low buildings behind the main roads, and 4 of our 5 homes are inside it. That makes this the only neighbourhood where you can book more than one flat and have everyone within a few minutes of each other on foot, in different sizes rather than the same room repeated. A family that needs two kitchens, or a group of eight who would rather not share one.
Chuim Village · 18th A Road
3 of the 5 are on the ground floor. No lift to wait for and nothing to carry a suitcase up, which is worth knowing if you are arriving off a long flight or travelling with someone who would rather not climb. The trade is honest: ground floor means the lane is closer, so these are the more street-level of the five.
The one on the sixth floor has a lift, and it is also the closest to the train: 1.5 km · 2 to 5 minutes by cab · 20 to 25 minutes on foot to Khar Road station.
For a stay of a month or more, the monthly rates page is the better place to start. If you want the wider choice of sizes, Bandra West is ten minutes up the road and holds ten of them.
These five are listed there too, under House Oona, and most people who stay with us in Khar arrive that way. Same apartments, same keys, same people meeting you at the door.
